Check a document
Here you recompute a Klyris document without an account, with the same IBKR file and exactly the engine version that produced it. The Abgleichcode in the document's header (from engine version 0.2.0, October 2026) records that version, together with the ruleset, the tax year and checksums of the input file and of the result.
What it is for
- Years later, the Finanzamt has questions. With the IBKR file you kept, you show that it gives the same figures.
- A tax adviser receives a dossier and recomputes the figures.
- A newer engine version exists. You see whether it computes your file differently, and why.
What you need
- the document: the Finanzamt statement or the Steuerberater dossier (PDF)
- the IBKR file (Flex Query, XML) the document was made from. As a tax adviser, ask the client for this file. Keep it: a later download may cover another period and give other figures.
How it works
- In the document, copy the line "Abgleichcode: KLY1 …" and paste it below. The whole header of the document works too; the page finds the code in it. From paper, type the code; spaces and hyphens may be left out. If the document carries no Abgleichcode (engine version before 0.2.0), paste its header with the line "Erstellt von klyris-engine …".
- Below the field, load the same IBKR file with "Choose file". If the code is already pasted, the check starts by itself. If you loaded the file first, click "Check" afterwards.
- The result appears below in the card "Check against the document". If it is reproduced, the card shows the figures of the engine version named in the code; compare them with the document.

What the result means
- "Result reproduced": the file and the engine version give exactly the result the Abgleichcode records.
- "Figures reproduced": the Anlage KAP figures match the Abgleichcode; other details differ, usually because the file covers another period.
- "Not reproduced": the file gives other figures. Usually it is not the file the document was made from.
- "Code mistyped": the code is incomplete or altered. Copy it again in full.
- "Older version": the document predates the Abgleichcode and cannot be recomputed. The page shows whether it is the same file, and the figures of the current version for comparison.
During the check, the page loads at most one file from klyris.de: the program file of the engine version the code names. Your file and the code stay on your device.
